The Panther shelter or cave, has become a Texas park landmark. The over size art of a panther was of uncommon size, at any of the shelters. But, if the painting of a panther, is the full reason to name the cave after the local cat, then the park picked the wrong site. The Zueberbueler shelter, the artifact site for the Pecos Museum, has them beat by three more.

As displayed, the site's hunter is holding at bay four of the beasts. A better view, full size, a few plates more. But in size, the Panther cave got the prize. A view of it above.
