It may have been an era of many advancements, the archaic period, but none would equal that of just one craftsman.Possible several thousand years ahead of his time, the hands of this early human would leave a hint of things to come. Without doubt this is the one artifact that the Pecos can point to as being truly unique. Possible not only unique to the west Texas shelter where it was recovered but to all the gifts early man ever offered. A little item that would be lost, still it was the power of man the human that made it and used it. |
