Beveling is an easy task, but it has it's rules.

As with most features on points there are uniface and biface. The crossection above shows a blade beveled using uniface blows. With this blade the craftsmen has rotated the blade after working one edge.

The blade below has been given a beveled egde by rolling over the blank as he bevelled. This is a blade with biface bevelling.
