The cord offered here in the display is a left handed cord makers work. The first fibers to
make a yarns were
given a counter clockwise or "Z" twist. The pair of "Z" twisted yarns then given a twist of the
opposite direction, clockwise or "S" twist.
The rabbit strip of fur was then wrapped around the cord. Had it been twisted into the cord, a
"Z" twist would have been used.
Thus, the cord and the fur strip, remain as two parts.
