Cords

For the visitor that was able to avoid the paper on cord making, this is a second chance for the Pecos to offer you the cords and how they were made. Our samples here were made by the left-handed cord makers.

Left-handed cords were about ten percent of the total. The normal is a two yarn cord, very few of the "odd" cords were made by right-handed cord makers.

If you have the time, take a common cord made today and compare it with cords some 2,000 - 9,000 BP.

The full story of cords will be found in the Pecos library.

Hope to see you there.
