As was noted before, the high volume of recovered artifacts at the Texas shelter, gave the museum a better opportunity to learn of the normal day to day life of early man.

One major benefit was the information gathered on many of the tools, both stone and perishable, bone and wood.

The sandals showed us the need and use of the polished sticks. The nets demonstrated the three ways net were made and the use of bone and antler gages.

We were able to see the steps man was able to take to learn to make his woven mat survive. Yes, all the extra work paid off.
